On good frustruting projects...So, I've been into improving my drawing skillz lately. Since I'm too much of a coward to take an actual drawing class, I've been jumping around a lot. Blind contour drawings and stippling are fun.
I've also been trying to draw noses.
Some angles are easy; some aren't. Flattish, Asian noses, for instance, are hard to draw. Profile and almost profile noses are easy (sorta). (For noses at least)Do not talk to me about shading.
And I appear to have entered the uncanny valley of drawing.

Russell said something along these lines: if I said there was a china teapot orbiting between earth and the moon-- one that was too small to be seen by our telescopes--people would think I'm a loon. On the other hand, if the china teapot was written in ancient books and taught in Sunday schools, not believing in the teapot would be odd.
